Children in Many Moods

Three of the 40 to 50 informal camera portraits of children by Richard Morawetz in "My Youngest Friends" exhibit, which opens tomorrow in Simpson's Avon House Galleries. Merry and bright is sturdy Jonathan D. Walsh (left), son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald F. Walsh, Pt. Nelson. The other charming studies below are Linda J. Scythes, daughter of Flt. Lt. and Mrs. F. H. Scythes, Toronto, in reflective mood, with her Raggedy Ann doll; and Virginia Wilson, daughter of Major and Mrs. J. T. Wilson, whose friendly interest is very captivating. None of the photographs shown has ever been exhibited anywhere before. Mr. Morawetz, whose photography is a hobby as well as a very exacting art, prides himself on never showing the same pictures twice.
