Composers given $60,000 for '67
The Centennial Commission announced yesterday that is has donated $60,000 for 45
to 50 compositions commissioned by 40 leading musical organizations [...]
Keith MacMillan, executive secretary of the Canadian Music Centre, described it
as the largest single project ever undertaken in Canada for the creation of new
