recorded by the U.S. Decca

The recording of Morawetz's Sinfonietta for Winds and Percussion will be the Wind Ensemble of the
Eastman School of Music - probably the most noted such group on tbe continent. It is not part
of the Centennial boom of recordings by Canadians for Canadian consumption, but was chosen
purely on its international merits rather than as a boost for Canadian music.
The score is also to be published, by Leeds Music Co.
