Let me extend to you my sincere thanks for the copy of "Passacaglia on a Bach Chorale" dedicated to the memory of my beloved son, the late President. The members of the family and I are deeply appreciative of this wonderful tribute to him. Later in the season, I hope to have the pleasure of hearing a performance of this work.

The "Passacaglia on a Bach Chorale" will be sent to the Memorial Library, where it will be a wonderful addition to the musical compositions already dedicated to the memory of the late President.
