A new work by the Canadian composer Oskar Morawetz was another delightful addition to the program. Entitled Divertimento for Strings, it is filled with pleasant moments as well as a
fair sprinkling of sadness.
It is a warm work, and one that we would like to hear again. Mr. Morawetz was present to
acknowledge the interest of the audience in his composition.
